Davey Todd National is the 2022 National Superstock Champion

Davey Todd has clinched the 2022 Pirelli National Superstock championship with a round to spare by taking victory today (October 2, 2022) at Donington Park.

BeMoto-sponsored Todd, riding for Milenco by Padgetts, has enjoyed an incredible season on the roads and now the short circuits. Of the 17 races run so far this season over 10 rounds, Todd has stood on the podium 11 times and tasted victory four times on his Honda Fireblade.

Taking the victory with a huge stand-up wheelie for the Donington Park crowds, Todd is untouchable with one round to go by holding a 38-point advantage over his nearest rival and only a maximum of 25 points available at the final round, held at Brands Hatch on October 16.

Davey Todd said after the win: “I don’t know what to say, I honestly haven’t got any words. I've said this all weekend but I’ve not been going out there thinking about the championship, I was concentrating on the race. This is for the team – what an incredible squad they are.”
