Privately owned BeMoto is fast gaining market share and a strong reputation among riders for its positive customer service, backed up by its ratings as ‘Excellent’ on Trustpilot, 4.8 stars on Google Reviews and 4.7 stars on Feefo. The Peterborough-based brand uses the strapline ‘We know the difference’ to underline its specialist intent, particularly when it comes to cover for modified bikes, multi-bike, track bikes, trikes and quads.

Brackenbury, 40, has 23 years working in the motorcycle industry, predominantly in journalism, marketing, events and PR roles. He joins BeMoto from his previous position as PR, Brand & Events manager at Bennetts and before that represented KTM Sportmotorcycle GmbH in Austria as its PR Manager (Street).

Luke Brackenbury said: “I’ve closely followed the journey that BeMoto has made since launch and what the team has achieved in terms of policy count and brand awareness in such a short space of time is incredible. The customer reviews speak for themselves and this is a company that genuinely cares about riders, really loves and understands motorcycling at the same time as having a clear personality. BeMoto has big plans with clear goals and I’m excited to help achieve them.”

Mathew Long, Managing Director for BeMoto, said: “I’m extremely happy to welcome Luke to the BeMoto team. His wealth of experience will be of great benefit to our brand and he will play a big part in pushing BeMoto’s awareness further. We’ve worked with Luke previously in a consultancy role when the company was at a very young stage, but now BeMoto is in a position to have his full attention to help deliver our goals.”

Established in 2015 with product coverage for the whole of the UK, BeMoto is owned and operated by Mathew Long, Nick Fenton and Ben Blake. Between them, they boast over 50 years’ experience in financial services and insurance, working for big name brands including a large UK motorcycle insurance broker - which is where they all met.

The trio set up BeMoto to focus on motorcycle insurance of all types - mixing business with pleasure. Even with its rapid growth, BeMoto is still staffed by a large number of riders and maintains a core belief in treating other bikers fairly with excellent value for money and a first-class experience, such as not charging amendment fees to make changes to any of its policies mid-term.

Quite simply, the independent firm is staffed by people with an extremely detailed knowledge of bikes, bikers and insurance with incredible and flexible packages to suit.
