BeLotto Prize Draw Easter 2022 - Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the BeMoto Super Special Prize Draw Easter 2022* (the “Promotion”, “BeLotto”).
Please read carefully, as entry to the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. The promoter of the Promotion is BeMoto, which is a trading name of Moto Broking Limited (Company Number 09676058), whose registered office is at Ruthlyn House, 90 Lincoln Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England, PE1 2SP (“the Promoter”, “BeMoto”, “BeLotto”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”).
2. The Promotion is only open to UK residents (excluding Our employees, third parties involved in the Promotion and their families) aged 21 and over. If you are an existing BeMoto customer that meets the qualifying Policy criteria below, the age limit does not apply. We will discount entries from non-UK residents initially based on IP address, email and telephone country codes. We reserve the right to request proof of UK residency and age for successful entries from Non BeMoto Customers.
3. The Promotion will run from 09:01 on December 4th 2021 until 23:59 on April 18th 2022 (“the Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted.
4. There are two ways of entering the Promotion (entrants can only belong to one group or the other, each group has its own qualifying criteria and its own ticket allocation):
a. Automatic entry as an existing BeMoto customer with live qualifying annual insurance policies at the Closing Date of the Promotion (even if you purchase qualifying policies after the Promotion starts). All BeMoto customers with a live qualifying annual insurance Policy at the Closing Date (23:59 at 18 April 2022, the “Cut-Off”), will automatically be entered into the Promotion without needing to inform us. As an existing customer it is possible to have multiple entries for holding more than one qualifying annual insurance Policy. Any Policies that are live during the Promotion but are cancelled or expire prior to the Closing Date Cut-Off will no longer qualify. A qualifying annual insurance policy (“Policy”, “Policies”) is defined as:
i. A live BeMoto Road Insurance Policy for a single Motorcycle, Race Van, Quad, Trike or Buggy at the Closing Date = 2 tickets
ii. Each additional live BeMoto Road Policy for a Multibike package at the Closing Date = 2 tickets
iii. Each live SORN, Annual Travel or GAP Insurance Policy at the Closing Date = 2 tickets
For the avoidance of doubt, the policy number on your Certificate of Motor Insurance or the policy number on your SORN or GAP Insurance Schedule is your unique entry code for each qualifying policy. Single event policies such as Trackday Damage Insurance or Single Trip Travel Insurance, that are not annual policies, do not qualify for entry tickets.
The policyholder has the right to be removed from the promotion by emailing their customer/Policy number(s) to helpme@bemoto.uk
b. Anyone that does not meet the criteria in 4a above must submit a manual entry to the Promotion (“Non BeMoto Customer”). Non BeMoto customers can enter the Promotion by completing an online renewal date/quote request form on Our website here: https://www.bemoto.uk/belotto.
Only one entry per Non BeMoto Customer will be counted. Non BeMoto Customers who successfully enter the Promotion will receive 1 ticket only. By entering the Promotion online, you are agreeing to marketing from BeMoto (please rest assured that We will never share your data with any other party without your explicit permission). If you prefer not to be added to Our marketing database you can enter the competition by writing to BeMoto, PO Box 1338, Peterborough, PE1 1LZ.
If a Non BeMoto Customer subsequently purchases a qualifying Policy (or Policies) after submitting a manual entry to the Promotion and becomes a BeMoto customer prior to the Closing Date and still holds a live qualifying Policy at the Closing Date Cut-Off, the single ticket will be cancelled and replaced with new tickets based on the qualifying Policy criteria in 4a above (as a minimum 2 tickets for a single qualifying annual Policy).
5. We accept no responsibility for incomplete entries or entries not properly received due to technical, communication, postal or other problems. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
6. By entering the Promotion, We will attempt to contact you in advance of your bike insurance renewal date (where relevant), by email and/or phone, to offer a quote for bike insurance. We cannot guarantee to offer an insurance quote, as these are subject to individual circumstances and underwriting acceptance criteria. There is one prize available, a unique winner (the “Winner”) will be drawn for the Prize:
a. A 2021 Ducati Panigale V4 S along with £10,000 worth of other prizes.
b. With regards to the above motorcycle offered as part of the prize, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for the condition of the machine. The Winner will be responsible for road tax and the maintenance/servicing of the bike, as per the manufacturers’ requirements in order for any warranty to remain valid.
c. As a motorcycle is offered as part of the Prize, the Promoter will offer up to £1,000 towards the cost of a BeMoto insurance policy for the Prize motorcycle only, either as a SORN bike for off-road use or a comprehensive road insurance policy if the Winner taxes the motorcycle to meet the requirements of the Road Traffic Act. The Winner must meet the qualifying underwriting criteria for the relevant policy and We will make reasonable efforts to offer an insurance quotation. Where Our premium is less than £1,000 Our contribution to this insurance will not exceed the cost of the insurance premium. No cash alternative or contribution is offered where the Winner does not meet Our insurer’s underwriting criteria, where the Winner choses to reject the insurance or insure the motorcycle anywhere other than through BeMoto, or for any balance of the BeMoto Insurance premium where it is less than £1,000.
7. Only one prize is available. A single Winner of the Prize will be selected at random from the pool of entrants that follow the entry criteria at 23:59 on April 18, 2022.
8. The Winner shall be notified by 6pm on 20th April 2022 by phone and email. The Winner shall have until 6pm on 27th April 2022 to claim their Prize by confirming their details, which must precisely match those on the competition entry form. Invalid email addresses and/or phone numbers will be not be counted as a valid entry (required to contact the winner).
9. Collection of the Prize will take place at Seastar Superbikes, Ipswich Rd, Newton Flotman, Norwich NR15 1PN, on a date that is convenient for the Promoter, Seastar Superbikes and the Winner.
10. In the event that any Prize is not claimed by this deadline or the Winner is unable to collect the Prize, the Winner shall forfeit the Prize and We may select an alternative Winner for that Prize.
11. The Prize is not transferable, does not have a cash-in value and will not be exchanged for an alternative.
12. Our decision is final and We shall not enter into correspondence with respect to Our decision. We reserve the right, in Our sole discretion, to disqualify or exclude any individual for inappropriate behaviour including but not limited to:
a. tampering with the entry process, (including exceeding the numbers of entries allowed), or any other process which, in Our opinion, in any way affects the fairness of the Promotion;
b. tampering with the operation of the Promotion or Our website Promoter or violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines on Our website;
c. acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person;
d. submitting entries on behalf of another individual; or
e. any conduct which would put other entrants at an unfair disadvantage.
13. The Winner’s name may be obtained by emailing helpme@bemoto.uk within six weeks of the Closing Date.
14. The Winners may be required to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with the Promotion, including the publication of their names, geographic location and photographs/video.
15. We accept no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the Prize.
16. We shall not be liable for any failure to comply with Our obligations where the failure is caused by something beyond Our reasonable control, or that of a third party providing the Prize.
17. We shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the Winners in connection with the Prizes, including but not limited to travel to and from collection of the Prize and expenses associated with any activity not listed as part of the Prize.
18. We may use your personal data submitted as entry to the competition to send you BeMoto newsletters and contact you about Our products and services that may be of interest to you, or for market research. We will never sell or pass your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
19. No purchase is necessary.
